Hi guys! Today we are going to do it a lil’ different. I have a fun quick tutorial for you but also (drum roll), I am writing this post in English. Why? Well simply because it makes me reach a lot more of you beauty addicts. So lets give it a go! If you have any ideas or spelling advise haha, don’t hesitate to place a comment.
Freckles are like curls. Girls who have them hate them, girls who don’t have want them. Besides the few spots that occur during summer I am not the owner of a cute freckled face. So what do we do? We use tons of make-up to look natural, duh!
Start with doing your make-up as you would normally apply it. I made a list with all the products I used so you can copy this look from start to finish!
- Bobbi Brown Foundationstick in Porcelain
- MAC Select cover-up concealer in NW 15
- MAC Prep+Prime Highlighter in Light Boost
- Make-up Studio Translucent Powder Extra Fine 1
- Nars Laguna Bronzer
- MAC Blush in Melba
- The Balm Mary Lou-Manizer
- Catrice Brow powder
- Estée Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Mascara
- Estée Lauder Eyeshadow palette in 05 Fiery Saffron
The only thing you will need is a brown eye pencil. For this look I used one of MAC in the colour Coffee, but I also like the Double Wear pencils from Estée Lauder. They are both really soft and creamy which makes them easy to work with.
Sharpen your pencil first so the tip is nice and thin. I like to start from the nose outwards because thats where freckles normally occur. While drawing the freckles its easier to make a turning motion with your pencil so the spots are small and round. Work your way out and vary in size so they look more natural. This doesn’t have to be perfect at all, after drawing them on you go over it with your fingers or a beautyblender in a dabbing motion. This wil soften the look and make them melt in the skin more.
Ok they are fake but I love the look of it once in a while. What do you think?
